Season’s greetings and a big huzzah to everyone! We had one of our best seasons of public sails with 5,950 passengers nearly eclipsing our all-time record from 2017 of 6,193 passengers. We set organizational records for the number of private charters (73), and number of River Rats camp registrations (327)! These were great […]

Camp Update June 3

Dear Camp Families, As many of you know, Governor Sununu announced this past Friday that summer day camps may start operating on June 22nd.  Along with this announcement Sununu released a series of guidelines for opening camps.  The Gundalow Company staff has spent the last several days reviewing these guidelines and aligning them with our existing program and safety standards and have come to the difficult realization that several of these guidelines make it impossible to operate our summer camp program as it exists.  Based on the group size recommendations of 8 campers/group and the need to increase our staff […]

May 20 Camp Update

The Gundalow staff and crew have spent the last few weeks carefully assessing, planning, and modifying our camp program based on current state and local recommendations.  Our goal is to provide a safe camp program that gets campers outside to experience our rivers. The nature of our camps provide some opportunities as well as challenges for running camp this summer.  As of May 20, we are planning to run a modified camp program with some cancellations of specific programs.  We are still waiting to hear guidelines from the state on day camps and we may still need to further cancel […]
