More Than a Drop in a Bucket: Gundalow Company Awarded RBC Blue Water Project™ Community Action Grant

The Gundalow Company was awarded a $5,000 grant on behalf of the RBC Blue Water Project™, a water stewardship program from the Royal Bank of Canada. The Gundalow Company will use the funding to support our 2011 “Contemporary Coastal Issues” events. Designed to engage the public in understanding current threats to our watersheds, these events provide activities that will reduce negative impact on our rivers, bays and watersheds.

The RBC Blue Water Project™ is a wide-ranging, multi-year program to help foster a culture of water stewardship. Since lack of access to clean water is considered to be one of the major threats to human health and economic development around the world, RBC is working to create a “blue water future” of sustainable water resources worldwide. The first phase of the RBC Blue Water Project™ is a grant program of $50 million over ten years.

“I’m pleased to say we’re making good on a few drops of that pledge,” remarked Jeffrey P. Little, CFP, Senior Vice President and Branch Director of RBC Wealth Management in Portsmouth, NH. Little presented the check at the most recent Gundalow Company board meeting, stating “I am proud to present this $5,000 check to your organization as part of RBC Blue Water Project’s Community Action Grant Program.”
