In the Community
For your town: The gundalow becomes the focal point for education and entertainment as we celebrate local rivers and bays. “Celebrate Our Rivers” series is designed to highlight both local history and environmental issues threatening our waterways, and engage organizations and visitors with activities, displays, and performances.
For the public: Each year our “Contemporary Coastal Issues” Series offers thought-provoking talks on current environmental issues facing the Piscataqua Region and Great Bay Estuary. These programs are collaborations with partner organizations and are held at varying locations, including onboard the Captain Edward H. Adams.
For your organization: Our staff will present a customized power-point program about the gundalows and their role in our rich maritime heritage. Programs will be done at your site and are ideal for service organizations, historical societies, and any adult community group.
