I note with great interest and gratification the publication of notice of the upcoming whiskey plank party noting the milestone in construction of the new Piscataqua gundalow. The very construction of a gundalow is a milestone in itself these days. I find it wonderfull that preservation of wooden ship building tradition in Portsmouth is not dead and gone. It takes a good deal of looking around to find any wooden sailing vessel around at all as once was common here. I maintained and captained the wooden schooner Pisces in this harbor for ten years some while ago. I have reverence for the masterfull craftsmanship involved and continuation of its practice coming to expression in the completion of a hull planking.

Nice work on your website. It was very easy to specify the number of guests and pay for the tix. And, thank God some people are finally figuring out that we can write in the 2 letter code for our state and don't have to stop and click on the 'select a state' widget.

May I make a suggestion, since whoever is doing your website work seems to be a very skilled individual? In the procedure of buying the tix, once the purchaser has advanced from specifying the number of guests and is about to go to paying for their tix by credit card, etc., that you insert something like, 'would you like to make a donation to Gundalow by rounding off this ticket purchase to the next hundred dollar increment?" That way, somebody buying 2 tix @ $20 could add another $60 to get to the next hundred dollar mark and now you've got extra $$ to play with.

Just an idea.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in applying and I would like to request any additional information you may have. I live in the Seacoast region, I am available during that time span, and am currently working on my M.Ed at Plymouth State.

Thank you.
