Exeter

Exeter in July

Since 1982, the replica Gundalow Captain Edward H. Adams has moved around the riverfront towns in the Piscataqua Maritime Region, providing a stationary platform for ‘dockside’ heritage and environmental education programs to school groups and the public. More than 10,000 people each year come onboard to learn about regional maritime history, traditional shipbuilding, and awareness of contemporary coastal issues such as water quality, habitat restoration, conservation and stewardship.

The Gundalow Captain Edward H. Adams is docked at Prescott Park in Portsmouth through Labor Day before moving up river to the Great Bay Discovery Center. Check our CALENDAR to see where we are!

The Gundalow Piscataqua launched on December 10, 2011 will be available Memorial Day weekend through October 2012 for public sails, school programs, private charters and festivals. Sails will be primarily out of Prescott Parke, adjacent to the Sheafe Warehouse.
