Campaign Support for a New Gundalow

The Gundalow Company has undertaken a $1.2m capital campaign to build a new gundalow to fulfill its mission through expanded on-the-water education programs for adults and youth. To date we have raised over $900,000 in pledges, gifts and in-kind support. Won’t you consider being part of this unique community-based shipbuilding effort by making a gift, joining as a member, or volunteering as crew.

New gundalow brings revenue stability and enhanced programs

In 2012 we will transition from a largely donor-supported non-profit organization to a more diversified business model with significant revenue generated from program fees. This change is directly attributed to the addition of our new gundalow that will be U.S. Coast Guard approved to carry up to 49 passengers. Revenue generated from day-sail, charter, and school fees will support dynamic new sail programs, and enable increased program access for residents, tourists, and students of all ages.
